The School

Our partner school in Santo Domingo is located in the district "Zona Universitaria” and faces the campus of the largest Dominican University (UASD). The building is bordered by a garden with terraces perfect for socializing, while the indoor classrooms are cozy and simple. All of this adds up to a personalized and extremely friendly atmosphere. Jump on public transportation and in a mere 10 minutes you’ll find yourself in the city’s historic Colonial Quarter where museums, theatres and restaurants abound.

Spanish Courses in Santo Domingo

In Santo Domingo we offer small groups of 2 to 7 students maximum.

Timetable

Classes are either in the morning or in the afternoon; each of 45 minutes.

Activities and Excursions

A number of local activities and excursions will compliment your Spanish course.

The most common activities are:

  • Dance classes
  • Visits to museums
  • Theatres
  • Cultural events
  • Hiking

Our Opinion

You can enjoy a variety of nature-oriented activities in Santo Domingo due to its impressive variety of landscapes. Hike the mountains, trek through lush jungles and semi-arid deserts, or simply bask in the warm Caribbean sun on white beaches. Although the country is a popular tourist destination, much terrain remains unblemished and largely undiscovered. Whether exploring the island’s natural beauties or dancing to merengue rhythms with locals, the Dominican Republic offers a vast array of possibilities for the Spanish immersion student.
