Puerto Vallarta is situated in the Bahía de Banderas, in the state of Jalisco around 352 km away from the capital of the state, Guadalajara. It is also possible to make the most of the sea and enjoy water sports like surfing or sport fishing. Puerto Vallarta is the ideal place to practice fish sailing and it is the place where the tournament of the same sport is celebrated every year.
